Linda Persson is an artist, independent curator & founder of XRAY at the Perseverance (2008) which is run at a local pub in Hackney, East London. ‘XRAY’ is a platform for contemporary video/film/performance, generating a 'relay system' by inviting artists to produce events. 'XRAY’ have hosted over 70 artists from around the world.
"Instead of taking authorship as a given, in terms of an already pre-structured hierarchy of relations between producer and produced, I want to open the site of authorship up to experimentation. The combinations of collaborative engagements & dialogues open up production to multiple arrangements & outcomes".
Here ‘XRAY’ will exhibit over 30 artists & host performances/talks (date/time tbc.) expecting the participation at SUPERMARKET will facilitate new exchanges for future developments and merge into a wider network.
