Malt

Malt is a group of independent artists from Iceland. It is formed through discourses and cooperation between the members, without a formal physical space. The artists are all active and working in an Icelandic context, as well as European. They work in various media and materials, such as performance, video, sculpture, painting and photography. Their work can be described as containing a certain degree of airy and jaunty use of material and cultural references, despite the sheer diversity of the group as a whole.
