When is the time to submit an application?
Application period for Supermarket 2012 is over.
Who can apply?
Primarily, we are interested in artist-run galleries regularly staging public exhibitions in their own exhibition spaces. It is not possible to apply as a single artist.

What does it cost?
There is no application fee but accepted exhibitors pay for a low fee for the exhibition stand .
Prices for stands (booths) are:
A large exhibition stand/booth (16-20 sqm) will be SEK 5000 + VAT = SEK 6250 (~€650)
A small exhibition stand/booth (8-12 sqm): SEK 4000 + VAT = SEK 5000 (~€530)
In addition to the booth fee, you pay a refundable deposit of 1000 SEK.
You get the deposit back after the fair with possible deduction for additional costs such as tables, chairs and cleaning.
Can I change the application after it is saved?
Yes you can come back and edit it until deadline.
Accepted exhibitors can continue to edit it until 1 month after the fair.

Will parts of the application be used as public information on supermarketartfair website?
Yes for accepted exhibitors. Images, videos, information about your organisation, list of members, web address and public address will be the content on each exhibitors presentation page.
Is there any technical things to be considered?
Yes, do not use Safari Browser. See Browser issues
Do not upload images larger than 1200px (longest side).

Information needed for the application
All text in english
- Contact information
Visiting and postal address, one contact person’s name and email.
We ask for 'Home town' which is the city that shall be written in the list of exhibitors (sometimes not the same as the postal address) - Presentation text about your organisation
80-200 words describing the organisation; its history, structure, purpose, and distinguishing features. - List of members
Members: If you have more than 20 members, just write the number of members.

Choose the titles you use, delete the rest. - Application text.
The presentation should be put as an application with some form of project description of how you would use the exhibition booth at SUPERMARKET. If possible, it would be preferable if a description of the works to be shown at SUPERMARKET could be included. - Application documents (Just send us material that is relevant to what you will have on show.)
- 5–9 pictures with captions.
This should be work that will be shown on exhibition and views from the gallery.
Supported format: png gif jpg jpeg. Important! Longest side 700-1200px.
- Video links from youtube or vimeo.
- Other application links - Choose booth size
- Additional comments and special needs.
Please let us know: if you intend to use loud sound; if you would be disturbed by sound; if you prefer a regular art fair booth; if you will only show video works and want to be located in an area where there is not too much natural or artificial light etc. - Decide which person will sign "Agreement of Terms" form.
How to make an online application
Make sure you are using the right browser

1. Login
Create a new user account or login with a previously made user account
New user account
The person who will be our contact person creates a new user account.
Link to create a new account .
This is only only possible during the application period. When making a new account you will be logged in directly. You will also be notified by e-mail.
Previously made user account
Login with correct user name or emailaddress and password. If the password is forgotten request a new password at the login section.
Important! Make sure that the contact e-mail adress is correct.
To check and change this go to your user account page (you must be logged in to do this).
2. Create application
- When logged in go to the your user account page
- Make a new application
When logged in you will have access to the link "application". You will find the link in the block "CREATE" on the user account page. Click on the link " application". - Fill in text info
Fill in the requested text data.
We recommend you to save the document after you have filled in the text (or just an 'X' in the text fields) and then re-edit the application to make the uploads. - Save
The Submit/Save button is at the bottom of the page.
You will get a notification by email that you have made an application. - Re-edit the application
To open your previously made application click on the name of your organisation. The link is in the block "EDIT" on your user page.
Click on "Edit" at the top of the application page.
- Problem with duplicate applications. We need only one application. To delete an application - click on the link to your application i the block "EDIT", choose edit and click delete at the bottom of the application page - Upload attachments
Upload the requested attachment files.
Use only a-z 0-9 underscore ( _ )and hyphen ( ‐ ) as letters in filnames.

IMPORTANT!! Resize your images before you upload them. Longest side max 1200 px. - Save your application
You find the Submit/Save button at the bottom of the page. As soon as the application is saved it is completed but you can re-edit it when necessary.
After saving you will only see parts of the application. Attachments files and other data is not visible. No problem - this is OK. The full application is only visible in the edit mode.
If you want to make sure that everything is ok click the edit link again to see that all the data is there.
3. Create "Agreement of terms"
When logged in you will have access to the link "Agreement of terms". You will find the link in the block "CREATE" on the user account page. Click on the link " Agreement of terms".
How to agree on the terms and regulations:
1. Fill in your name
2. Read the paragraphs on the page.
(The details appear when the mouse is placed over the paragraphs.)
3. Check (fill) the check box 'I Accept the Rules and Regulations' at the bottom.
4. Submit the agreement.
Within 10 minutes you will receive an e-mail that goes out to your user account address, confirming that the agreement is received.
- Come back later and change the application.
You can come back later and supplement your application until the deadline.
This is how you do it:
- Login here: http://www.supermarketartfair.com/user
- Go to the user account page
- Click the name of your organisation in the block "EDIT" at the user account page.
- Click edit in the top of your application.
- Edit text fields, delete content and upload new images and documents.
- When ready don't forget to save (at the bottom of the page).
Browser issues
