This is the next product Global Stone Workshop is planning to launch.

The purpose of this project is to give participating artists the opportunity to choose how they wish to be remembered in the future.

As things now stand , when the artist dies, some of the works are dispersed and the memory of what he/she has created in his/her lifetime quickly fades.

In the “MLC” the artist can put all of those works he/she considers to be important thereby enabling future generations to rediscover and judge the works in the very distant future.

Once filled, the container will be sealed and buried at a secret location somewhere in the world. Centuries later the artist’s MLC will be unearthed and opened in a reality very different from ours. Just as it happened with the Etruscans, the Egyptians, the Chinese and so on.

GSW organizes workshops in sculpture and has since the start in 1996 grown to include activities in six countries; Sweden (Gotland and Bohuslän), Italy (Carrara), Spain (Zaragoza), Portugal (Odrihas, Lisbon), Vietnam (Da Nang) and India (Goa).
