ART ON ARMITAGE is a window gallery dedicated to art exhibitions, installations and performance on this busy avenue in Chicago. It brings art out of the confines of the traditional art gallery and is visible to the general public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The gallery has been in operation since 2004 and features a different artist each month. The intent is to demystify art and make it accessible to everyone, respecting both the artist and the viewer by providing an artist statement along with the artwork.
